SPONSORING A HORSE
Would you like to help a horse, but don’t have the time or resources to adopt? If so, then sponsorship is a great option!
The average cost of saving a horse from a kill pen ranges from $500 – $1,500. If you then add on quarantine, shipping, farrier, and vet bills, it can end up being quite costly. By sponsoring a horse, you will be covering the cost of adoption as well as the additional fees, so that we can bring the horse home and begin the process of rehabilitation. By helping with costs, you are helping us to put the money where we need it, and also saving a life at the same time!
When you sponsor a horse with the Santana Center, you will receive updates and photos of your sponsored horse, as well as visitation (by appointment). You will also get a shout out on our website and social media for your generous donation.
Sponsor costs are as follows:
To sponsor a horse: A one-time $2500 donation
To sponsor a pony: A one-time $1500 donation
Partial Sponsorship for feed/hay: $300 donation
